We've received the most amazing Buddhas, one Genesh and three Saint sculptures from a Brazilian artist via Paris. Last year we had a similar collection and they sold out almost immediately!

Windy Sunday in New York
You are probably wondering who creates most of the posts and takes photographs for this blog. My name is M.K. and I am the manager of Cursive at ABC. If you've met me at Cursive you might have seen me in action photographing someone's child or bending over to capture a detail on a bird tile or a piece of jewelry. Everything inspires me and this blog allows us, at Cursive, to bring you our unique eye to the page. Would love to hear from all of you and if you are in New York please come by and say hello!
Jewelry box made in the Philippines - starting from the top drawer: shagreen (stingray) with shell, bright green is ostrich, brown drawer is cobra and orange drawer is ostrich again. This would also be a great desk organizer.
On bright sunny days around 2pm, the sun streams through a large picture window facing Broadway and bathes Jeanine Payer jewelry in warm sunlight.
A porcelain apple with a pewter stem stands in the jewelry case being bathed in the same warm sun that covers the jewelry.

Can you see the letter "L" on this stationery?
This is another favorite detail of mine. Taken from a water decanter, which is handblown crystal from Prague.

Artwork installation at Cursive
8:15am, Thursday morning, October 18th - we began hanging artwork above Cursive's back wall. The artwork really pulls Cursive and its merchandise together. It looks amazing! The artist, based in Boston, draws with pen ink on paper and what makes the artwork even more stunning and unique are the frames the artist finds at flea markets. They are one-of-a-kind vintage frames. Prices range from $935.00 - $1540.00. Take a look:

a day in the life of cursive...
I loved watching this dog, lying on the floor next to Judy's Lamps, and watching the world go by...
A stylish asian woman was wearing these fantastic yet inexpensive shoes that were bought in Japan. The unique thing was that the pattern on the left shoe was completely different than on the right shoe.
These sneakers walked into Cursive about a month ago and I had a great conversation with the owner about where she bought them (Bloomingdales) etc... then about a week ago I was talking with a customer who looked familiar and when I looked down I immediately remembered who she was by her shoes!!
Snapshots of Cursive merchandise:
