And the winner of our first give-away....

Thank you all so much for your comments on our first give-away.  This week's winner is Kate who posted the following on our blog.

Love in the mossy underbelly,
love in the cavernous hereafter,
love in the broken branches of memory.
Nature is within,
but not without
A pattern of beauty
where there exists everything
and nothing
at
all.

Congratulations!  You will be receiving one of the journals (above) and a pack of post-its from the Galapagos collection.  Please email your mailing address to Elena at elena@cursivenewyork.com.

Tune in Monday for another give-away question about the Galapagos Collection.

The exciting news for March Madness...

Cursive New York will be hosting a give-away each Friday from the Galapagos Collection which was inspired by the flora and fauna of the Galapagos Islands and designed by Jacqueline Schmidt (Screech Owl Design and one of Cursive's vendors).

1. Every Monday morning in March, we will post a question inspired by the Galapagos.
2. Please post your comment (one per person) here or find us on facebook, "like" us and post on Cursive New York's facebook page.
3. Comments will be accepted until Thursday at 1pm EST and the winner will be announced Friday morning.
4. Cursive will choose a winner based on the most unique and creative response.

Question: What about nature inspires you?

Things are changing on Cursive's blog...

...beginning with Wednesdays: we will be highlighting a piece (s) of jewelry sold at Cursive, showing off a customer's purchase or a unique piece of jewelry we've spotted on someone...

First posting (albeit a bit late...) is Jeanine Payer's "Dusk" necklace purchased by Dawn, who was in town for business and had been eyeing Jeanine Payer's jewelry for a while...

To be completely know and all forgiven

Happy Birthday to a Cursive customer!

Frequent customer Kathleen (forgive me if I have your name wrong...) stopped by Cursive yesterday evening with her friend Lauren and when we found out she had a celebratory birthday in the Campbell Apartment this gave way to an impromptu birthday solo serenade of Franz Lehar's Merry Widow Waltz by Elena.
