Windy Sunday in New York

You are probably wondering who creates most of the posts and takes photographs for this blog. My name is M.K. and I am the manager of Cursive at ABC. If you've met me at Cursive you might have seen me in action photographing someone's child or bending over to capture a detail on a bird tile or a piece of jewelry. Everything inspires me and this blog allows us, at Cursive, to bring you our unique eye to the page. Would love to hear from all of you and if you are in New York please come by and say hello!

Jewelry box made in the Philippines - starting from the top drawer: shagreen (stingray) with shell, bright green is ostrich, brown drawer is cobra and orange drawer is ostrich again. This would also be a great desk organizer.

On bright sunny days around 2pm, the sun streams through a large picture window facing Broadway and bathes Jeanine Payer jewelry in warm sunlight.

A porcelain apple with a pewter stem stands in the jewelry case being bathed in the same warm sun that covers the jewelry.

a close-up of pattern details on two small decoupage trays sitting atop one another

detail of a passport cover made in Italy

Can you see the letter "L" on this stationery?

This is another favorite detail of mine. Taken from a water decanter, which is handblown crystal from Prague.
