Don't miss Renegade Craft Fair !!!

I walked this fair last year and had such a great time except for the broiling humid weather! I found a bunch of gifts for family and picked up a few items for me too.

Rainy day and details...

Jeanine Payer's Coralie bracelet in bronze is the perfect accent
against the striped shirt and black leather coat.

*

The Dupatta scarf by Matta is a favorite staple of mine
and it is always nice to see what colors people have chosen
and what they jewelry they wear with it.

*

I was completely drawn to the beauty
of this umbrella of a straw hat.
The face underneath was not
revealed to me until I showed them the photos
I had discreetly taken of her.

The hint of orange at the turned-up collar
is what caught my eye first
before seeing the entire outfit which seemed
just the right amount of style for today's rainy weather.

Sea Turtle is moving to Florida

This sea turtle tray will be moving to Florida this week and when I mentioned that the sea turtle might just swim off the tray into the ocean, the customer gave me some facts on sea turtles.

1). When sea turtles hatch they are attracted to the horizon
2). During baby sea turtle season, owners with beachfront homes are told to keep their lights off so as not to confuse which direction the ocean lays.
3). Organized groups assist the baby turtles in finding their way to the water.

Spring has sprung!

Yesterday, I spotted this woman standing in front of Matta and the color of her assorted shades of green stripe-y pants with her rhubarb and lovely orange-y fruit? made me feel that Spring has sprung, so I followed her discreetly to catch a better photo. My telephoto lens shots did not reflect what I was seeing so I finally went up to her to ask if I could take a closer photo.
