a day in the life of cursive...

I'm so inspired by the Cursive customer, what they wear and how they accessorize, their pets and communicating with their children while being surrounded by our collection of merchandise that I can't help but take more photos. I hope you enjoy these photos as much as I enjoyed taking them.



I loved watching this dog, lying on the floor next to Judy's Lamps, and watching the world go by...




A stylish asian woman was wearing these fantastic yet inexpensive shoes that were bought in Japan. The unique thing was that the pattern on the left shoe was completely different than on the right shoe.




These sneakers walked into Cursive about a month ago and I had a great conversation with the owner about where she bought them (Bloomingdales) etc... then about a week ago I was talking with a customer who looked familiar and when I looked down I immediately remembered who she was by her shoes!!

It's bird city at Cursive!

Come check out the new collection of bird tiles we received last week. We created small square collages of bird tiles across our back wall. This batch of tiles has more texture added and deeper colors that accent the bird silohuette.

Drawing Doll featured on Rachael Ray

Our drawing doll was featured on Rachael Ray's daytime talk show last Monday, September 25, 2006.

The doll measures 17"L and comes in a boy version and a girl version. The boy is wearing overalls (as seen below) and the girl is wearing a pinafore. There are five markers that come with each doll and they are individually packaged in a cardboard box. Please call for further information.

Bird tiles as promised...

Two of the bird tiles in the group shot below (cream background with striped bird and small bird tile in 3rd column from left and above blue bird tile) appeared in Elle Magazine this past summer.
