Photographing plants purchased at the Farmer's Market always encourages me to buy a few for my home... though I am really bad at keeping plants alive and I always say kudos to people who can create beautiful gardens within their city apts!

T. Hall, from Melbourne, had such energy and was wearing this whimsical "beetle" dress by TM Collection from Portugal. She bought these three Cursive items a gift to someone who loves birds. I always think in colors and textures to describe an emotion and the lime green tissue paper in T. Hall's shopping bag completely reflected our conversation.

The simplicity of this woman's outfit: her Vanessa Bruno black leather tote trimmed in sequins, simple white top and accented with a light blue necklace is something that I aspire to, however, I would add a touch of color or print to make it my own.

I am always on the look out for comfortable yet stylish shoes to wear while working at Cursive and these silver woven shoes on this woman were right up my alley. The woman purchased her PF Flyers at Revolve Clothing in Los Angeles. I checked out PF Flyers website and fell in love with these two pairs. I hope they still have them...

We received the plaster letters last week and a stylist from Chicago pulled these three letters, which are her initals, to place them in her all-white office. I have photographed this Marni Patent Leather bag before and I love its versatility.

As you know I love textures and this olive green shawl/cover up was just fabulous. I mistakenly thought it was by Issey Miyake but was corrected. It is designed by Ray Harris, an English designer, and was shown during Fashion Week. This woman demonstrated to me how it could be converted from a long shawl to a cover up with sleeves. Amazing!

This overcoat "Favelas" by Ronaldo Fraga, a Brazilian designer, was sooooo cool! The material is the same found on raincoats. The woman wearing this coat is also a designer of jewelry and her silver butterfly (below) went so well with the overcoat.

Anne, a clothing designer from Chicago, showed for the first time at the Designers & Agents Show, and stopped by Cursive to say hello. She was also looking forward to seeing the new Gary Graham shop.

Combining textures is a wonderful thing: braided handles on her bag with the fine pleating of the dress and the patent leather red belt.

I love this woman's hairstyle with her large gold hoop earrings accenting her tatoo around her neck and chest.


I loved seeing part of Jeanine Payer's necklace with this woman's rings. She designed the top band with Cathy Waterman's jewelry as her inspiration. The "heart" tatoo on this woman's finger is a combination of her first initial and her husband's first initial. She got it in celebration of her 7th wedding anniversary!

Her friend had a shell woven into her hair and the combination of a natural form, being a part of her, touched me.

S. Martin always is wearing a unique blend of bracelets and I love seeing the Jeanine Payer bracelet among them.
