I started a new message bean as the 1st plant was growing a bit out of of control. The photo on the left was taken at 11:30am and the one on the right was taken at 6:45pm yesterday afternoon. I didn't even water it and it still grows... This one will say "peace" on the bean. Come by and see it before it falls off the stem and becomes a normal vine...
This fabulous skirt, from Urban Outfitters, was worn by Emma, one of my summer staff. I love how it moves when she walks.
These Jeanine Payer jewelry pieces were bought by a woman on Friday morning. The cuff was for her and she wore it under her tatoo "Love" while the ring was for her boyfriend shown on his finger on the right.

I put together a dinner with five of Cursive's vendors - all who live in the Bay area. Height order was by accident and I think some of us were wearing heels...
I stayed with a girlfriend and her family and helped them settle into their new home. Every morning, after making coffee, I would walk out to the backyard and photograph this one particular bud too see how it bloomed out of it's protective shell. Her eldest daughter, 3 yrs old, held this flower so I could photograph it. Here are the results:
